Creating a website that works for both members & partners
With an expanding membership, regular events, and increasing industry partnerships, their old website wasn’t keeping pace. They needed a professional, engaging, and scalable digital space that could showcase their club, attract new members and brand partners, as well as support their busy calendar of events.
The club was also struggling with their previous site’s functionality. They had limited control over even management and membership permissions, experience poor SEO performance and had difficultly making site updates with a host of formatting issues and bugs.

Our goal was to create a site that positioned The Watch Collectors Club as a leader in the watch space, while making it easier for members to explore events, sign up, and engage with content.

Blending refinement with approachability
We set out to design a website that felt as timeless as the watches it celebrates, striking the right balance between sophisticated and welcoming. Inspired by luxury brands, editorial sites, and private members’ clubs, we created a site that reflects WCC’s expertise, inclusivity, and passion for watches.
To refine the brand’s digital presence, we:
→ Enhanced their colour palette to add warmth and depth
→ Introduced textured backgrounds for a more premium feel
→ Paired serif and sans-serif fonts to balance elegance with modernity
→ Reimagined the blog as a digital magazine, making it more engaging and easier to explore

A fast, flexible and future-proof site
We migrated WCC to Storyblok CMS, which allows their team to visually edit pages with ease. Now, instead of wrestling with formatting issues, they can focus on what matters - creating great content for their members.
To improve membership and event management, we built a custom system using Supabase, streamlining access for different membership levels and making event sign-ups frictionless.
We also built a small webshop so that the club can sell merchandise to members through their dashboard.
To ensure the website could evolve alongside the club, we implemented a modular design system using Storyblok CMS. This gives the team complete flexibility to:
→ Easily create new pages using a library of custom-designed sectio ns
→ Manage events seamlessly, with clear sign-up processes based on membership tiers
→ Optimise content for search engines, improving discoverability
